Multi-Language Support for Video Embed

EnableX Video Embed supports multiple languages. You can select the language of your choice as the default language for Video Embed. Additionally, you can allow users to choose the language of their choice from the Video Embed UI.

Overview

EnableX Video Embed UI was only available in English when it was released for the first time. In April 2022, EnableX introduced support for a few other languages. Users can access the UI in their language, making it easier to use and understand the product.

Supported Languages

EnableX Video Embed supports the following languages:

  • English
  • German
  • French

English remains the default language unless you switch to other languages.

Set Up Video Embed

You can set up Video Embed in the following ways:

  1. Create a video service project. For more information, see Create a Video Project.

  2. Get started with the low-code video application development process. For more information, see Get Started with Low-Code.

  3. In the 6th step of the 6-Steps Wizard, click Go in the Configure Low Code Settings box. For more information, see Configure Low Code Settings.

Configure Settings

Alternatively, you can follow these steps to Configure low code language settings for the selected project:

  1. Navigate the Video section in the left menu pane and select Dashboard option from the drop-down.

  2. Select the project for which you want to configure advanced features. This will take you to the project summarypage.

  3. On the project summary page, select the Settings tab.

  4. The Low Code Settings interface will open, presenting you with a range of low code and general settings options.

  1. Navigate and click Language Settings box.

There are two aspects you can manage:

Default Language

  • Choose the Default Language you want to set for your Video Application.

Multi-Language Options

  • To add multi-language options, check the box next to each language you wish to include.

Note: If you want to allow your users to choose their language, check all the languages that you want to make available to them. Users will see Embed in the default language. However, an option to switch to other available languages is also provided.

  • Supported language options include:

    • English
    • German
    • French

  • Click on SAVE button to ensure your Language selection.

Multiple Language Choice for Users

If Video Embed is set up with multiple language options for users, then users get a UI to change the language for the UI while being in a session. To switch to another available language, users must select the language that they want to switch to and save their language selection. This sets the preferred language for the users. By setting the preferred language, users ensure that all future interactions with this website are in the language of their choice.
